Security flaw in Superhub2

best to use 17-24 long chars password with lower, cap letters mixed with numbers

Think it's just when you restart the sh2 the network are un-enchrypted at first and if someone connects and then goes to 192.168.0.1 and the login password is default they can then see what the wpa is once the network enchrypts itself.

They really need to randomise the passwords for the routers. Many people just have the engineer come round plug it in and use it, they'll never login to the interface and change the password from the default.

They'd be on your network for a start so could take full advantage of any security flaw on any equipment you have.

Well it needs to be like the BT Home Hub 3's system where everybody's GUI password was different, but the still broadcasted the SSID with a number after the BT HUB 3.

It should be a mandatory setup stage in accessing the broadband if you ask me.

I always recommend this when advising or setting up customers.
