strange thing in firefox

I have 6 web browsers that I use when doing tbb speed test.I always get a message for httpx6 test that my av is somehow interfering or that I have a program/software issue
none of the other browsers have issues.I Am running a clean reinstall windows 7.

Can you post a copy of the results link, wizard advice is not always infallible so seeing the graphs and figures will help to confirm if you do or not have an issue.

What AV suite are you running?

I am using Avast .before reinstall of windows I would be lucky to get 6mgon a 20m g account ,since upgrade to 50meg I get around 52 meg on ethernet 40+on wifi

Have seen that behaviour with avast users before, hence the caution. AV software is trying to protect you by looking at data, which of course can get in the way depending on its down, and the many threads may have avast working harder combined with load via flash to make CPU busy maybe.

No I dont use a down load manager.
