Virgin blackspot - infill possible?

I live in North Bristol, and am surrounded by virgin's network.

Roads with green lines, virgin is available. In red, where I am, no virgin.

It would be fine the other side of the wall at the end of my garden for example.

To complicate it a little more, it seems that business services are available here, I was told that one of the nearby flats has cable BB, but if I try to order business services I'm told no.

Is there anything I can do to encourage VM to infill in my street?

Have you filled out the online form for cable my street?

When you say business customer do you mean cable business or fibre optic business?

Is it a private road or new build ( houses built after catv network was laid)

I am in the same boat as you, got 3 Virgin cabs about 100 mtrs from the house in all directions but my little road in unadopted and they won't cable it after asking loads of times as its not cost effective and a wayleave is required and to get that I have to get the road adopted and that costs a lot, according to my local council.

Now just found out my BT cab aint getting FTTC either

Nope, not new. I'd say the buildings are late 80s? Didn't have cavity wall insulation until recently.

Road is council owned.

Virgin just hate me!

That sucks but there must be a reason as Virgin has been doing a lot of infill work around the UK recently, might be something under the street that don't allow them to dig or have enough space for required ducting or equipment.

Might be as simple as Virgin not have really seeing a ROI based on the Demographic of the street.

That is also true.

VM make lots of noise about infilling but in practice it rarely happens

My street I originally lived in was skipped by CabelTel back when originally installed, we had a green cab located in the street but nothing was dug up.

Virgin refused to do anything still to this day. My parents still live there.

The streets either side are connected.... infill is a myth!
