1mb connection and paying for 100mb - 3 months to fix?

My 100mb connection is currently connecting at a whopping 1mb. Having spoken to Virgin, I've been told it's a capacity problem and they will fix it by July! Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? Think it's time to jump ship....

I too have this issue in the CV10 (Coventry) area and was told it's going to be "fixed" at the earliest in September.

My only issue here is if it was a capacity issue how come I regularly get flawless upload speeds and only download is affected?

I've been given a discount.....as I pointed out..at best I'm getting 10% of my advertised broadband so where is my 90% reduction. No dice at all.

I was looking at alternatives but in my area there aren't many!

User's here in Crawley also had these issues for past 4 years and still no fix though after alot of customers getting in contact with the press they have now been forced into doing something "fast" about it!
