Recently I have been having latency issues, ranging from 141 to 649ms when pinging enta.net for example. I restarted my superhub, and got the same issue. I then signed into my account and ran a test, which advised me there is a problem running the test!
I wanted to rule out the new WiFi hotspot feature implemented recently, so I signed into my profile and went to the bottom of the page. There I found the opt out feature and I clicked:
*You want to opt out of Virgin Media WiFi. Customers who have opted out are not able to access our superfast WiFi on the move.
After clicking confirm I kid you not running the ping -t command my pings returned to normal instantly. I just thought I would advise anyone else to try this if they are having similar issues.
