Packet loss: oversubscription issue or my line is too noisy?

So, this has started few weeks ago. I was playing some multiplayer matches online and I started lagging despite good ping. I asked anyone else if they were also lagging as it seemed to be server issue, and they weren't lagging. So I ran pingtest.net and I discovered packet losses (around 3%) and I checked my router status which also indicated packet losses.

I was wondering if this is an issue with oversubscription or my line is too noisy?

Looks like noise. Contact support.

Your downstream power is a bit high too and could do with lowering.

Assuming if there was some element of oversubscription issue to this area, is there a way to detect this? Along with packet losses, I think I've experienced slow down in speed during peak times but I haven't really checked to confirm this.

If there were oversubscription you'd see slowdowns in download speeds at peak times and might see an increase in pings that would show up on the BQM.

This would not impact in-game experience until it were quite severe, or on the upstream channels. It's not the upstream channels, if it were your ping would be horrible.

On that note think I'll fire up Doom.
