At a glance your connection is worse on business than it was on residential.

Looks like a classic case of switching from SH2 to SH3. It is a known issue with SH3, loads of discussion on the VM community about SH3 jitter.

I did have the SH2 but they have provided a Hitron CGNV4-BIZ but a SH3 which I thought was the only one effected by the PUMA6

I wasn't aware of that, I would have thought that they'd patch the business products much quicker then the residential SH3

lol... no chance...
But to be fair every provider across the globe using Puma 6 products are affected...
Actually Virgin seem to be doing better at combatting it than the provider I was recently using abroad.
Best Regards,
Matt.

I think there has been a patch for the Hitron that at least partially solves the issue.
However, yours just came out the box and might have old firmware, perhaps it will update over the next few days.

Firmware updates generally happen as part of the installation - so your installer should have let it go through to the latest before completing install.

I've emailed tech support see if they have a firmware update or if they'll let me switch back to the SH2 in the meantime

You can't have the SH2 on business, it can't lock enough streams to hit the speed and doesn't support the tunnelling needed.
You'd have to go back to a lower speed residential service.
