All gone quiet - network expansion

I registered an interest on the Virgin cable my street site ages ago and had an email back saying they had acknowledged my interest.

I've seen plenty of infill work going on in Telford but nothing in my area yet. I'm very close to the existing cable network, it runs in the pavement at the top of my road.

Any idea how to find out if they have any plans before I sign up for another 18 months with BT?

Also plan in between 1-4 months before you can even order cable, once they have laid the tubes etc. All been done round here but I could be looking till autumn before I can order , maybe even next year !

My mates streets recently got infilled and it took a month after placing the order to get an install date. Apparently they do network testing etc after it's all been laid.

Least he's got that far though.

worth looking on roadworks.org , and set it to next 12 months

I keep checking it. All infill work in the town has disappeared apart from one street.
