Extend coax on Hub 3

When I had VM broadband installed I got approx. 1.5 metre  of coax from splitter to Hub 3 (splitter feeds incoming coax to Tivo and Hub 3)

Due to room layout changes I now want 4 metres of coax from the splitter to Hub 3. Will this:-

be ok to replace the 1.5m coax?

Its implied its the correct cable for what you want, but they don't actually specify the type/quality of cable used. Whilst it mainly gets great reviews some have had problems, perhaps because it's not RG6 but possibly the cheaper RG59 or even something else altogether.

Ideally you want RG6 cable, so you could buy a length and a couple of screw on F connectors along with a male/male connector separately, so long as you're confident of fitting the ends.

to extend the coax to my DAB tuner in its new position; at that price "cheaper" than me buying cable and connectors and bodging the assembly.

However before connecting to the DAB it inserted it on the feed from the VM splitter to the Hub 3. TTB tester still gave 101bps on my wired pc and 55bps on my wifi phone i.e. no difference.

So maybe it is what is says it is. Will buy the 5m.

That one does specify that it is RG6 cable.

Thank you for pointing that out. Changed my order to the 5m version of this RG6 cable.

Across the length dealt with in-home a bit of RG59 really shouldn't be a problem. Have to have seriously marginal signals to have the extra attenuation from a couple of metres of it become an issues.
