VM service in the PO8 area

[link to this post]

I am getting a little exasperated with the vulnerability of the FTTC connection to my house. I started with it when the service was first introduced to our neighbouhood, I was the first user in the green FTTC box to be connected.

However the speed has declined over time and is subject to sudden drops in speed due to the activity in the green box and local cables. So I am restless and would like to know if the service is better on the other side.

Thanks for any comments

My speeds are much better, like you I was first on our cabinet, but it was my upload which took the hit dropping from 12 to 6Mbps over the years. It was also an ECI cab so no G.INP of xdB to improve speed.

So I've gone from around 47/6 to 380/21 and so far so good.

I'm in the PO8 area - (Catherington Lane) & am getting great speeds & reliability from AAISP.

AA have a great reputation for customer service, I couldn't be more satisfied.
