Virgin fault - is it widespread ?

My broadband is off, and Virgin website tells me it’s a network fault.
Is this wide spread? I’m in North East Hampshire.

Virgin Media fixed it. Sent me a text. 2.5 hours outage.
I rebooted my own router.
