Please Post your BQM

[link to this post]

Hello fellow Virgin Media internet users! Could you please post a link to your Thinkbroadband BQM if you are on a 350Mbps (or faster) service and state whether you are using the Virgin Hub in standard router mode or bridge mode (with your own router behind it). If it's a Hub4 please mention that also.

Why?

I'm using a Hub2 on the 200Mbps service and generally it is excellent. I had a Hub3 when I signed up but was not pleased with the Puma chipset latency spike issue and managed to get a Hub2 which sorted that out.

But now faster speeds are available to me here, but I'd have to go back to Hub3 (or Hub4 if available). I wanted to see people's BQMs (and any other observations you would like to provide) to decide if I should do it.

Thank you!

Ps - fair is fair, here's mine. If you see red it's probably when I was updating my router (OpnSense) or power cycling my modem to clear some low speed issues recently (9-11 Oct 2020)

Looks good! Thanks very much. If you feel so inclined, what are the results on this speed test [ https://www.8x8.com/resources/voip-test?locale=uk ] that provides jitter information?

I get normal speed results and jitter is 2ms. My result: https://8x8stc.speedtestcustom.com/result/c0244f00-0...

Thanks again!

Here's my live graph
My Live Graph
My experience is that I had very, very stable m100 connection for years.
'upgraded' to Gig1 on the day it was released in my region and have had atrocious experience ever since.
Connection completely unstable - huge, constant packet loss.
I wish I was back on a Hub 2 or 3 with a stable but slower speed
I'm using Hub4 in normal mode (When I was on m100 I was Hub 3 in modem mode)
Just did your 8x8 test now (bear in mind currently suffering very bad connection here;
8x8 result

Wow, sorry to hear that JennyCide. Must be very frustrating. I hope they get it fixed for you at some point.

Thanks for your input.

Looks nice, Nighty1973. Thanks. Seems like the may have ironed out the Hub3 latency spikes. Did you ever experience them?

Not that I noticed but I've only been back on VM for about 4 months after being away for 4-5 years.

Hello fellow Virgin Media internet users!

You forgot to ask which region people are in. I'm on the Surrey/Hants area, legacy NTL/CableTel network. I'm on a Hub 3 with the M200 service.
