Does VM lock its Gig1 service behind bundles?

[link to this post]

I thought I'd just see if the DOCSIS 3.1 network had made it around my area yet. But so far no.

I noticed when I typed in my post code it says I can get M600.

Looking down the options its only available if I take out the tv, broadband and phone services which will cost me £89 for the first 18 months, then £139 a month!

I checked the other 2 options and it appears if I get the broadband and phone package then only M350 is available and that would cost £46 for the first 18 months, then £63 a month.

For the broadband only deal the max they offer is the M500 and that is £46 per month then then £62 per month (it doesnt said how long the £46 a per month lasts).

So where does the Gig1 service fit in? Is it locked behind the tv, broadband and phone bundle, or can broadband only people get it? If so, how much does it cost?

Gig1 is available as standalone at £62.

M500 is available as standalone too so it’s strange it’s not showing for you. You might be in an area with higher levels of take up so they don’t want to sell separately. It’s £46 on its own.

It will only show you packages that are available to you, as you said its not available that is why it is not showing.

I think the M600 package is only available in a bundle with TV.

I believe all contracts are for 18 months.

Thanks

My area is showing M600 and I can confirmed it does showing standalone M500 but I didn't go to VM because too scare of their badly congestion in my area.

I went for reliable G.fast 160/30 instead.
