How do you get the best deal from retentions team?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to ask a quick question. As my contract has ended, I’m trying to get a better deal with my Virgin Media packages. I’m hearing to get the best deal from their retentions team is to cancel your virgin media package. Usually, seven days before the termination occurs, they will contact you and offer you a better deal than before. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Has anyone cancelled the packages and then received contact just before the termination occurred, and they offered you a better deal?

Can someone let me know?
