I'll endeavour to update this thread occasionally so we can keep track of gaming performance. At present, there are too few userrs to get meaningful stats.

Many thanks Using what exactly? A link to it would be an idea as most of us aren't telepathic or can't find out via a crystal ball

I said i'd update this when I had the chance, and after a year, I can probably say with some confidence that they're... ok
Frankly I;ve had more issues with the router being not amazing than I have as a gaming platform. Certainly no worse than, say, virgin's equivalent cable offering.

I've been using Vodafone for a week now and would say I'm quite satisfied. Ping times are a fraction lower than with Plusnet, and I've found the supplied router to be competent.
Great value for the money.

We switched on Tuesday, and after initial issues - turns out they were blocking steam and the NVidia software being used to record games. Call to their helpdesk got that all sorted and we are away. So far so good:

Was nice to find the helpdesk actually helpful unlike our experiences with BT previously

Why would they block this in the first place?
was it a router issue or them actually blocking it?

Sorry meant to respond somehow didn't managed to do so.
No idea! As to whether it was something Hubby could have controlled himself on the router, possible (as he got confused as to which was the password for Admin access printed on the router) but I was given the impression not.
