Joined Vodafone

Despite having real problems signing up for the 76Mb product I've now been on Vodafone for the last 2 weeks. I have to say I was more than a bit worried about leaving IDNet who were excellent.

Happy to say that I needn't have worried. The switchover went smoothly, my ping has gone down by about 10ms and my download has gone up from 74Mb to 75Mb. Saving around £20 a month too.

So far so good! Hope it continues...

I've been considering it as it is cheap but i'm still worried

i had a vodafone mobile contract years ago and the CS was horrible.

Not much chance of being able to use your own router. The Vodafone router appears to be poor if you have many wifi devices. One solution is to use another device to connect your you wifi devices.

If you don't mind paying upfront Origin broadband works out cheaper of the 1st 18 months.

placed an order and they just haven't done anything since thursday

i should have my go live dates by now but nothing

i left a facebook comment asking whats up while its now been deleted and i was contacted via email

this is very worrying behaviour

i think i will cancel if i won't get a go live date by this thursday.

When I ordered I was able to select my go-live date at checkout which was confirmed the next day so something doesn't look right there.

The 'multiple orders on this line' message came up on the bt wholesale adsl checker with the correct date too.

Went live on 27th Feb.

Well after speaking with them on the phone for about 30mins they seem to can't give me an answer

So i just canceled

the next day

plusnet messaged me saying there have been a cease placed on my line by origin lol

so i just sorted that out today

honestly i'll just stay with plusnet for now at least they are somewhat useful.
