Well, it's that time...

...the 18 month contract ends in the middle of March, and I've initiated the switching (back) to PlusNet.

I've had no real problems with Vodafone and it's all worked well (and fast). I never did get them to look at the high level of FEC upstream errors though.

The only real reason I'm changing to PlusNet is the price really - it's slightly cheaper than Vodafone now

You are not in a high cost area then, I presume!

No more than the average anyway...

what plusnet deal are you switching to? I couldn't see a plusnet deal which was cheaper than VFs £20.00/month upto 38 offering.

Unlimited Fibre Extra (up to 76)

It's 18 month contract (like Vodafone) and works out at £2/3 cheaper now

Arh. I was looking at upto 38 services. vf just bumped me up onto the up 76 package as part of my complaint resolution - going to see how that goes (ie. will the slow service in the evening give me 2 slices of the pie rather than 1 on the congested backhauls cf the 38 service).
