FTTC moving to Vodafone questions

[link to this post]

Moving to Vodafone in a week or so. Can't say I have been impressed with the process so far.

Anyhow questions:

I expect to get a power hub which from my research looks like a piece of doodoo with no documentation I can find.

I hope I can use my current Billion modem/router so what is the best way to get log in details for it?

Can I use a SIP client for digital voice (probably on a phone) and if so what is the best way to get log in details for that?

You can use the online chat to get your router login credentials. They are suitably clued up and give them out. I suspect the same applies to DV, but have no experience of that.

Keep the VF router incase you need to do any troubleshooting in the future.

Vodafone FTTP, DrayTek 2925, DrayTek AP-910c x 3
(Gone but not forgotten: Draytek 130, AP-700, 2820n x 2, 2800vg, 2800, HG612)

It has been done - running Vodafone’s VoIP on your own gear. It’s on here somewhere
