Vodafone outage today

Got a call from the son who is on holiday today to say the internet was down around 1500. Checked at work to see what was going on and it looked like Vodafone has had a major outage today as even their own site was down. His mobile data via Vodafone was down too.
Came home to check out my network which was fine and it's just came back up at 1705 so not sure what happened but they have fixed it. My son's world has been restored to normality again and I'm not getting accused of kicking him off the network

They unadvertised or broke most of there IPv4 space....

But oddly all week before the 4/5g cellular was having problems with all voice calls dropping back to2/3g and failures on all the new underground services.
