Voipcheap

[link to this post]

Hi,

I am currently trying out voipcheap for making UK calls, but every call cuts off after 15mins. I do not see anything about call duration restrictions on the website, only the 300mins per week limit. Is this normal? Does voipcheap require new users to put in some credit to get longer call durations even for the free calls?

Thanks.

If referring to voicheap.com, I made a 1/2 hour free call abroad without any problem on Sat eve and one of 21 mins to UK landline on Sun eve also with no problem - but I do have credit on the account.
It does state that in trial mode that free calls are limited, but do not know what the limit is.

Voipcheap com seems happy with calls of any length
from our household (wife/sister ; son/girlfriend etc) and
is free during the day with a small credit.

I notice the webpage now offers an incoming call number
for 1 euro (day, week, month???) but the link does not seem
to end up anywhere useful!

I saw 20 free calls when I was testing them.
