Hi - Thanks

Its a Linksys PAP2 T and I am using both Sipgate and Tesco internet. I have managed to configure Line 1 for sipgate and it works fine. What I want is to set line 2 for Tesco but I cant get that to work.

Can I have just one phone plugged into line 1 and set it to ring on both incoming lines and allow me to select an outgoing provider, perhaps by dialing a number before the call.

I've entered my tesco info and tried it but get nothing, I even tried plugging the phon einto line 2 to see if that worked but no luck.

Any advice gratefully received

the PAP2 has two completely different circuits and accounts to feed two phones, there's no way that I am aware of to combine the lines internally.

You may be able to use a fancy dialplan to use one phone and one circuit to route according to a prefix, but for starters I should concentrate on getting the Tesco service working on the second port by itself.

What does the Tesco line do - does it register, get a dial tone, make outbound calls but not inbound etc etc.

No dial tone, nothing. Not even sure if they allow another adapter to be used but I guess if I have the right info it should work.

We did have a few of these that were faulty and allowed line 1 to work, but not line 2
