BT Digital Voice Call Charges

I've looked but can't find any information on call charges with BT Digital Voice - does anyone have a link ? Thanks

Calls on BT are the same on PSTN and Digital Voice.

The cost of the new Digital Voice and broadband service is all included in the your single package price. There's no extra charge for Digital Voice.

Thanks for that - I find it staggering that they are charging 20p/min or minimum monthly package of at least £7 for VOIP - so much for progress........

Plenty of other fish in the sea, as they say. You certainly don't have to use DV even if you do take the bundle offer (if its cheaper/same price). Simply use another VoIP provider.

I was going to say; think of voice in the same terms as email, tis another service that runs over the top...but then remembered that millions of folks are, inexplicably, still joined at the hip to their decades old age @btinternet email account. So probably not the best analogy 😂

Been looking at VOIP costs for a small charity and for 3 users it seems to also cost about £7 per month per user so not just BT.

There are costs for the call control etc that have to be paid and BT's is a resilient Call control. Some of the cheaper ones stopped working a couple of weeks ago for some hours as they had no Resilience. Back to the old "you get what you pay for". Think of it as a mobile over optical ( Same cire just different access equipment), most people pay more than £7 PCM for their mobile package.
