I know you're already done with this, but I have used the Gigaset base stations at home for many years and found them to be very good. With the compatible handsets, they give really good control via the handset, of the SIP features. They are also GAP compatible for basic telephony needs.
I've used one as my main landline at home since 2007.
They are effectively like a mini pbx in that you can register up to six accounts and decide which phones use them for dialling out and which phones ring on which accounts. I expect the Granstream does the same.
I'm just replying so that on this thread there is a thought that Gigaset might be a good alternative to Grandstream - they are similar cost. Having installed some commercial systems at the early adopter end of things, I found that the Grandstream stuff can sometimes be a bit flaky and seems to lose support fairly quickly. But I don't know these particular devices. I started out with Grandstream stuff probably about 15 years ago but have stopped using it generally. It was cheap - but not always cheerful.
Personally, I would avoid Wi-Fi phones like the WP810 and WP820. Wi-Fi is not designed for voice communications and is very poor under interference conditions (anywhere unless you live in a field on your own...!) . DECT will be much better for the wireless link.
Try looking for an N300 (or N300A with answerphone - does SIP network answerphones too btw).. Plays very nicely with SIPGATE basic.
