This is extremely poor English, but reading between the lines I believe its asking for a network diagram to show a voice call between 'Internet User A' and 'Internet User B' using ISP VOIP services.

1. A working internet connection (ideally with low jitter, reasonable bandwidth)
2. VoIP account with a SIP service provider. eg Voipfone, Sipgate etc.
3. A SIP “client” - could be a soft-phone app, a supported DECT base, an ATA, a soft PBX like Asterisk.

yeah I just found sth similar.

architecture-: https://imgur.com/a/fcLk2VY

here's explanation of phone call procedure in VoIP-: https://imgur.com/a/NewSc8w

here's my understanding.

1) when user needs to call a destination it contacts gateway to help look up a number.

2) source gateway contacts destination gateway to negotiate parameters of call using some signaling protocols.

3) media path for 2 end points is set up. where media travels and transcoding can happen through that media gateway.

is this all (the basic core)?

I would agree but the English is so bad, its not how we speak around where I live.

The exact same question was also posted on reddit. It was also assumed to be a homework assignment there...

Following a few links, he seems to be trying to follow the BCT Engineering Notes for telecoms.

Always interesting to understand peoples motives when asking out of the norm questions like this.

reddit is such a huge platform with huge number of audience, but it most of the times disapooints. the niche forums like this and many more are more helpful even though the amount of people using here is like few few people..

i ask questions there just for formality. not sure how you figured i asked there. but many people seem to google the question and reddit probably comes at the top.

i literally have to generate 1000s of usrname ideas these days haha, people be llike tracking me.

Following a few links, he seems to be trying to follow the BCT Engineering Notes for telecoms.

i am really curious what do you think about it? please share your thoughts. what do you think is bct engineering?

the catch is that if i was studying this in anywhere where education system was not a disaster, this question is like 1 email to professor or 1 office time visit to professor for 3 secs, and it gets solved. or reading your professor's slides and it gets solved. but i have none of them(although i am in univeristy). it's just sad and pathetic. there is no world where technical people from this part of world will ever come close to the ones from germany, usa, nordic nations(maybe idk about them), australia etc without studying in those countries. the online courses from these countries are just the tip of iceberg of their educational system.

if you are interested in wasting some time, here are the frustrations of similar group of students like me-:
