Unable to reconnect with Sipgate

Firstly I am one step removed from a total Luddite!

I currently use Sipgate as my VOiP and have three Gigaset cordless phones and a Gigaset GO box 100.

I have managed to totally mess up the handsets which will no longer connect to Sipgate (I keep getting the message” registration at provider failed” ) and despite numerous conversations with Sipgate I have been unable to reconnect. Although I can receive and make calls via their app on my iPad.

So, my question is: if I change over to VoIPify as my new provider will I have the same issues? In other words can anyone advise if the Gigaset handsets are now useless or changing provider will probably resolve my issue?

If you have messed up your Gigaset configuration and can't correct it what makes you think you can reconfigure it for an alternative VOIP provider. Spend some time figuring out why your Sipgate isn't working.

As none of the 3 phones work I'd start with a factory reset and reconfiguration of the GO box 100

I would agree, this can be done by logging into the base station UI and going to 'Settings>Management>Reboot & Reset' then clicking the <Start factory reset> button but I do wonder if the original configurer of the Gigaset is the OP and if not then they may need some help from someone who has at least a little technical knowhow.

Dont make mistake I made by put in the WebSite Password when should been using SIP Password.

Do a complete restore to factory settings if all your attempts fail.

I currently have a GO Box running with both Sipgate and VoIPify - sometimes after a significant power down, either can take 15-20 minutes to register correctly.
