A&A - landline porting in question

[link to this post]

Is it possible to specify a date for porting in a landline to A&A's VoIP service? From what I have been able to find out so far, it can take a few days for the porting in to happen depending on the original provider.

From a previous port in that I did, I seem to recall that they sent a confirmation saying that the porting will happen and the date on which it will happen. If I wanted to delay the porting in, then would they be able to postpone it to another date?

Sipgate offered me the option of choosing a later porting date, so I would expect other providers can do so. But as already said, just ask them.

Thanks. I sent them an email and received a quick response to my original email as well as to some subsequent emails I sent with additional questions.
