Snom desktop phones. As you retire old hardware, or buy new, copying over the phone directory becomes desirable, especially if there are several hundred entries involved. After many hours of frustration, I have a .csv file that will successfully upload into either a D375 or D385. Many of the data base entries have a picture gram associated with a particular phone number which is often their company logo. It all works well and maybe one of these days I can get to grips with LDAP which would make life a lot easier.
Meanwhile my issue is to add a new picture grams, either to an existing .csv entry or an entirely new one. I have created a folder on my PC containing about 600 logos. Using the phone's GUI it is easy enough to assign a logo to any particular number but how is this task of "uploading" achieved with the .csv file. The image needs to be translated into a long string using almost every charater found on the keyboard. What do I need to convert an image imto this string?
