Usually isp provided voip is tied to their provided router
you would need to ring them for the details as every account has its own settings.
some need a url and the mac address to be registered on their system so they send the settings some use id and passwords with proxy address (all technically use this but sometimes its automatically configured)

If you want to use your own router, my advice is to go to an independent VoIP service provider. There are too many proprietary 'standards' out there. An independent VoIP provider will support you to get up and running. ISPs will just tell you to use their router.

Talktalk's 'digital voice' is not tied to a router, it comes with a preconfigured ATA which can plug into any router you want, but I don't know how that would work with wifi, I would guess Talktalk would not give you any information, or if they did I'd be very wary of it being correct.
I would agree with others about using a 3rd party VoIP provider, after 6 months of [censored] from Talktalk over their 'digital voice' I'm in a good position to cancel that part of my contract, but given the chance penalty free I'd leave them completely, which is saying something as I've been with them since they took over Tiscali!

... and neither you nor their call centre will have the least clue as to whether the ATA is active on the LAN side or the WAN side of their router, But if you can get the answer to that question, we can begin to answer how you might be able to use your router.

I think Talk Talk are actively phasing out the Eero 6 from all their packages.
