Yeah, now using a Vodafone Full Fibre Broadband which came with the now inevitable VoIP telephone connection. My original worry was whether or not the VoIP Router followed the BT CLI Spec used by both my DECT phone system and my Phone Nanny. The good news is that the Vodafone supplied Router does indeed provide BT Spec CLI (Caller Line Identifier, a 1200 bauded FSK fart of caller data just prior to ringing).
The bad news is that instead of honouring the old BT exchange "Caller has Hung Up" by dropping the line holding current for a second or so and used by my DECT Answerphone to end recording the new VoIP Router uses an annoying 400Hz tone to hack off the human enough to get him to hang up.
My problem now is that my DECT Answerphone does not detect the 400 Hz tone and, once the Answerphone is triggered, continues recording until the tape is full (actually solid state recorder). Having filled the media the Answerphone mode turns off.
So YES. I am more than a bit hacked off that I've been sold a Pup and chances are that even if I got hold of someone at Vodafone and explained the issue they wouldn't understand.
