Vodafone incoming calls problem

[link to this post]

I'm trying to remotely diagnose this problem ATM for our 'other house' which has a vulnerable occupant living there.
The new FTTP line went live today, the old copper line had been phone only and we had got a letter from BT a few weeks back saying it had been changed to 'digital voice' at the exchange.
The router is as supplied by Vodafone with a socket for phone, have plugged in a panasonic DECT phone and phoned gf to see if it is working, and yes it is and showing on her phone as the correct number, so all good I thought.
Tonight gf tried ringing the phone and we get message that it is a invalid number, at first I thought it was a problem with the area code, but no, tried it with, without, and with country code, no luck. Checked gf's phone and it showed the received call (with correct contact name) that I made this afternoon, so return called that, no luck, still not getting through.
I'm guessing this must be some sort of routing issue, but I've not come across it before with a switch to VoIP.

I’d try power cycling the CP router for starters (though I’d imagine you’ve tried that already) … after that, it’s straight on to Vodafone.

Don’t take any old flannel off of them, this will be an issue for them to resolve, some incorrect cease has appeared somewhere, and they need to identify the issue on their systems, and fix it.

Good luck

I had to 'power cycle' the router couple of hours after the fibre had been connected to get internet and phone up and running, I'm about to go over and try that again, plus disconnect the second router (which has been reconfigured as a WAP) on the off chance that is causing a problem.

It was a Vodafone issue, but they admitted to the problem being their end and that it might take two to three days to resolve, as long as we knew he could ring out not too concerned, but it's just started working this afternoon.
A slight aside, I've put the Panny base unit in the garage plugged into Vodafone router, and a Panny charging cradle and handset where his phone used to plug in, we've got a 'new' spare telephone socket somewhere, I'll fix that to wall behind router, and I have a lead that will link from socket to router, then the base unit can go back in the house which will give a better coverage in the house.
