IVR problems with Fritzbox 7530AX

[link to this post]

I’m having problems getting through an IVR switchboard using my VOIP setup. It works fine with my mobile. I’m using Fritz FON C6 with FB 7530 AX and latest software. Switchboard behaves as it has received but not recognised the digit. I have tried both troubleshooting options on the DECT access point page. In the past I have found AVM most helpful but they seem to gave gone over to a chatbot help system which gave up on my enquiry. A&A VoIP end point if that is relevant.

It might be down to the DTMF settings (and the codec). Go to Telephone Numbers > Edit Telephone Number and scroll down to Additional Settings for the Telephone Number
There are a few options under DTMF transmission. For me "RTP or In-band" works, but just try them one by one to see what works for you.

Thanks. I had forgotten those options. Unfortunately none work for my community physio team. It’s only some switchboards I have problems with (bank is ok). I remember having this problem a long time ago and it cleared after a software update. Looks like version 8 has broken it again.

I've had issues with setting up 3 way calls and IVRs as well...

I found your post whilst looking for solutions.

My solution was SIPgate / Acrobits for my needs, but as you say, it seems different IVR systems don't play ball.

aquiss FTTP 80/20 and A&A VOIP
