Port Based Virtual Hosts on Debian 5

[link to this post]

Hi, I'm running Debian on a computer at home for testing purposes, and to learn. It only has one network card, and one IP. I have tried to set up port based virtual hosts using Apache2. However whenever I try to connect I get a 403 error. All the configurations work if I only use a single host at a time. I'm beginning to get a little frustrated.

Does anyone have any idea what I may have over looked? I can provide any information such as config files you may need.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind! I'd set the wrong permissions. All sorted now.
