Weird problem

I'd be very grateful for some advice.
Just been altering my website (adding a new gallery page) by dragging and dropping thumbnail images from one page to another using Dreamweaver 8. I saved the pages, thinking they were ok, uploaded them to the server but then realised I needed to add something else, but when trying to add new images to the pages the cursor disappears when its not over an existing image. I am now unable to do anything with the pages other than to the existing images.
Is there something I've done that can be reset, or can I revert to a previous session or something.
I'm very inexperienced with web design by the way. I've opened the pages in Front Page and they behave exactly the same way.
The website is www.lakelandphotographs.co.uk and I was changing it from two to three main image galleries.

Sounds weird to me and I have no idea what has caused it. To work around it in Dreamweaver I would go into Code View to insert the images.

I've also just noticed that another thumbnail gallery (the Lakeland one) is behaving in the same way as well - and I hadn't even touched that one, all other pages don't seem to be affected at all.

Not trying to be dumb but I can't see what is wrong .

Also DW has a inbult photo gallery > commands > create a web gallery.

And greate photos btw

As you've probably gathered from my comments and the nature of the site itself I'm no webmaster. Basically, I just place the cusor where I want it and insert an image. However on the thumbnail galleries I've created the cursor/arrow/hand symbol/whatever disappears when it's over a blank section of the page, reappearing when over an existing image or piece of text, seemingly making it impossible to add new images. This is not the case with all other pages in the web.
I really need to get more to grips with DW and will look for that command to make a gallery, with a view to rebuilding them eventually.
