Web Hosting Reseller Advice

[link to this post]

Hi all,

I need a bit of advice please. I'm starting a web design business and I'd like to incorporate web hosting as it goes hand in hand. So I'm looking for a reputable UK based web hosting reseller who doesn't charge the earth. Can any of you point me in the right direction or link me to some kind of service reviews.

Cheers.
Paul.

Nethosted. http://www.nethosted.co.uk/

Check their testimonials section in the forum http://community.nethosted.co.uk/ which all give an accurate picture of the service in my opinion. I've had a reseller account with them for roughly 3 years now.

Another one for nethosted. I have been with them for 18 months and am delighted. Tech support answer within a very short time - usually measured in minutes!

Another vote for NetHosted. Been there two years and any queries I've had have been resolved quickly and very professionally.

Excellent, it sounds like I'm onto a winner here. Thanks!

If I could change my question slighly now... how do I go about linking my packages to the payment services. I'm looking to go through RBS WorldPay to handle my card transactions from online sales, but I'm not entirely sure how I link up my website to the corresponding payments?

Cheers.

Go to Nethosted PreSales forum and ask. You will probably get a response within 20 minutes!

You'll want cpanel/whm as it's the most popular platform, you'll probably want to be able to oversell your allotted resources, if you're doing e-commerce sites you'll want cheap extra IP addresses.

You might want WHMCS and phone support.

If you're using a shopping cart/order facility - most - have inbuilt support for WorldPay. If not, you can often download modules for them.

Are you currently using any software? or just forms to capture user information?
