Purchasing existing domain name

I am wanting to purchase a domain that someone has registered.

I have tried emailing the owner of the site but the problem is that the webpage is all in Japanese so I am presuming the owners are and it just looks like a bit of a spam type thing where it only phone numbers.

The domain I am after is

I once came across a company that would try and purchase it for you and charge a fee if they were successful.

However I dont have a clue who it was and cant google and find them either.

So if anyone has any idea's it would be very helpful

If no one comes up with a positive answer, you could always try and get in touch with Nominet UK. They should be able to tell you how to proceed.

But with a .net name you may be on a very uphill task.

No point contacting Nominet - they have nothing to do with any domains that do not end in .uk. It sounds like quite a desirable name so I doubt whether you could get it without stumping up a lot of money. You can back-order it, e.g. from Namesco (www.names.co.uk), but that is no guarantee that you will get it. I note that it currently expires in Apr 2010, so that is the earliest it could become available:
