Cancelling Hosting but not Domain Names with 1&1

Our local village hall had 6 domains and a single website with 1&1
(We have so many domains to cover .co.uk .org.uk .com and preventing passing off.

For ease of editing decided to use WordPress for the site and as a bonus found that TSOhost offer free web hosting and email to registered charities.

The main domain name transferred fine, and checking today found that we still have our hosting package with 1&1 - this is now superfluous.

I would transfer the other domain names to either Heart or TSOhost, but 1&1 work with Direct Debits whereas the other require a Debit or Credit Card which the village hall don't have.

I've asked 1&1, but so far no reply.

Any ideas please?

Don't forget to register the .uk as well (although no-one else will be able to until 2019 if you already have the .co.uk).

It should be possible to get a Debit Card on the account but, in such situations I just use a personal credit card and recharge it.

It looks as though Tsohost will accept payment by BACS

We accept offline payments via BACS and Cheque. You will be provided with instructions on how to complete an offline transfer once you place an order.

Ah, but Cheque of BACS is still not automatic. PayPal might be an option though.
