not a BT line?

hi people. wanted to ask. I am currently with bulldog on phone/broadband package.
Want to chenge ISP but when i do a check on my phone line all sites agree that it is not a BT line. How do i check if i can get a particular service in my area?

If you kept your original telephone number the area code will give you your exchange, so find a neighbor or someone else on your exchane that is with bt, or if you know your local exchange use sam knows

They will be the providers offering an unbundled or cable broadband service. The exchange will also offer the usual run of Demon, Pipex, F2S, NDO, Nildram, Plusnet etc etc i.e. those using a BT Wholesale IPStream service
