Good customer support

Can anyone recommend which ISP offers the best UK customer support. My friend is getting broadband for the first time, and she's new to PCs so she will want a helpful customer representative should things go wrong.

Speed/monthly limits aren't so important as she is unlikely to be downloading much.

Free modem important as she's a first timer.

Something inexpensive and reliable are the key requirements. I've heard the

Have a look at Waitrose Broadband, not cheap but a "best buy" in recent Which survey.
Free 24/7 support, free modem and connection, 5GB per month & up to 8MB speed. 12 month contract though.

You could always try IDnet. www.idnet.co.uk

Exceptional free CS and Support who will hand hold you through any problems. They can sell you a router already set up and remotely administered also. A 1 month contract as well and
