Madasafish any good???

I will recommend IDNet. Excellent and free CS and Support. Brilliant connection and stability. It is a no nonsense ISp with plain connection and free email (as many as you want on demand).

I migrated to MAAF at the end of January, due to a long BT line I was put onto a 2.2Mbps connection which is OK for what I use the internet for, there were some small niggles at the beginning some of which an e-mail to "care at MAAF" helped, but the most helpfull support came from Samara, who monitors various other parts of the Forum Index as well as MAAF on the ISP forum.

So far so good!

In a word no.

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)

I have been with Freenetname since 2000ish and they were fab. I moved in with the Mrs and she was on BT so I kept the BT and ditched Freenetname, (Kept the Justmail and my Domain).

I thought BT were a rip off, but Migrating to Madasafish is more like rotten as a dead fish. I was migrated on the 5th Feb and (depending on which way the wind is blowing) I have had between 0.68 and 3.91mbps.

Today and this week I am up to a half baked 1.34mbps (Slower than what I had with BT)

Madasafish needs to sack their support department and get someone in who knows their salt.

I have complained to the ISPA and I now have my own Techie who rings me daily, When I informed them that my DSL SNR levels were the cause of my frequent disconnections they have finally agreed to send out a BT Engineer. I'll keep you posted

Good job I'm a Techie as they just insisted that I was turning my router off a stupid o'clock in the morning and when I wasn't in..

As I said "the most helpfull support came from Samara" and I see she has picked up your posts from this forum and the ISP > MAAF forum.
