anyone thinking of TalkTalk read this first

Hi,

I used to recommend TalkTalk to my friends and family, but I don't anymore given the sharp practises they employ.

All their adverts state that you will get download speeds of upto 8Mbps broadband depending on distance from exchange/line condition etc.

This is a lie.

If you have to pay them

My son joined them and soon found this out. Be careful if you have telephone as well as you could find yourself without telephone and broadband.
