BB providers.

HI there - recently moved and got sucked in to the FREE orange BB. Totally crxp, so looking to change ASAP.
I've narrowed it down to Zen or Newnet. I download a lot, and would be looking for at least 4MB speed (pref 8), and a download limit of minimum 20GB.
Any ideas/tips etc much appreciated.

I will recommend IDNet. Excellent CS and Suport all based in UK and extremely reliable connection. They have just updated their BB packages.

I'm afraid that you can't "look for a speed" if you want a MAX or similar connection. You get what you get depending upon your line quality. The situation may be able to be improved by ensuring that your internal cabling and telephony equipment are in good order and that computers and connection equipment are correctly set up.

Unfortunately, you won't have any accurate idea of what your final speed is likely to be until you actually have a broadband connection from which you can take SNR and attenuation level readings.
