After receiving my long awaited MAC code from Eclipse I decided to migrate to ADSL24. Their Home 30 package looks good as you get 30GB peak usage and 300Gb off peak all for

your current ISP has taken you off bt's equipment. This isn't ADSL24's fault. BT charge them to move you back on, so they have to in turn pass that charge back on to you.

I guess some ISPs might absorb the costs in return for a long term contract, you'll end up paying one way or the other.

Im guessing that whichever ISP I choose, I will have to pay the migration cost. If I choose a 12 month contract and the ISP are a pile of [censored] like Eclipse im screwed. At least with a monthly contract if the ISP are no good I can just leave.

Not necessarily.

I was on Eclipse LLU (Flex 500), and recently moved to Be who accepted the Eclipse LLU MAC. Now synched at 12mbps down/1.3mbps up on 3 month contract. I think other providers may also accept LLU MACs.
