whats out there without rip off technical support?

it will be nice to consider the cost having to call the technical support too..

whats out there that is not 0870 or 09XX numbers ??

We - NamesCo, use 0845 numbers for Technical Support, and quite a few others do too - eg: PlusNet.

Interesting concept.

We all automatically think 0870 = rip off, but realistically tech support has to be paid for some how. So would you rather pay 10p a mminute on the few occasions that you need support or say take a pounds worth of investment from each month's fee to cover support and get an 0800 number.

I guess as I hope to rarely or never need support (have used it a couple of times in the last 18 months) I would rather fork out 10p a minute. But then there are always those that have a need to call support a lot, I don't want to subsidise them from my monthly fee, I would rather that most of it went on capacity.

You don't get anything for nothing!
