Definately check IDNET. Highly regarded isp, and fine for pings. There are a great number of gamers with them. They have no form of throttling or control onyour connection. There is a paid for allowance and if you go over this you get an email and you are charged at 1.00 per GB over that alowance without any control over your connection, you just go on using it.

Both my son and I are often playing on the Be Unlimited connection. I mainly play BF2. Pings are solid 17ms to most UK servers. This is on an interleaved conection. Fastpath option could reduce this but at the expense of stability. Some areas have been having congestion issues with an influx of new users and the launch of the O2 network, and Be have promised to install additonal capacity to resolve this. I have not had these problems myself.
