PlusNet have an option that isnt listed

[link to this post]

Quick question, given that the PlusNet pages here dont list it.. PlusNet's Option Pro service.. What's the big deal? Is it really so much better than Option 3 that it's worth half the usage? Static IP, no interleaving and no traffic shaping, plus all traffic prioritised.. That's a good thing, right? But is it a *significant* thing, for someone who doesnt really plan on downloading 24/7

Hi there,

This is the broadband your way pro product, the same as the page here. With regard to the difference in usage, this is because all traffic on pro is prioritised as gold or titanium (including all peer to peer application traffic and usenet traffic). On the other broadband your way accounts this traffic is prioritised as bronze, which will work fine outside of peak hours but are slowed in favour of http/email/other time sensitive traffic between 8am and midnight.

The pro account is aimed primarily at gamers and also those who want to be able to use their connection to download whatever they want, whenever they like. From the feedback we've been getting the difference is certainly noticeable, but it depends on how you use your connection as to whether it will suit your own usage habits.

Hope that helps, please PM me if there is anything I can do to help.
