Re: Zen? PlusNet? Maybe another?

Not that it will help the OP right now, but the web site is going through a complete overhaul, including the new control panel and some other bits and pieces and should be ready in about 4 weeks time (We hope!)

Re Zen, I'm not sure I would recommend them at the moment. There are a few dodgy reports around IIRC, as though they may be going downhill a little.

What dodgy reports are these then?

Everything okay here

If you mean going downhill as in our recent move to new premises due to our continued expansion, the recent Which, Sunday Times, PC Pro (4th year in a row) awards in respect of our service and reliability etc. Then I'd settle for that ;-)

Yes, I didn't quite know how to say what I did. The comment needed reading in context and with the two comparisons I pointed the OP to.

It's just that I've seen a very few gripes on these forums in the last few months, maybe the disruption inevitably caused by expansion and a move, (which I didn't know about), are just a temporary blip.

I would certainly consider Zen far superior to Plusnet, which is the OP's headline question. Though where he gets the idea a 2GB allowance would do I don't know . The higher one of yours that he is looking at looks fine.

Bob: BT Broadband >> Prodigynet >> Newnet Lite.
Purple Cloud for domain reg/hosting, email hosting and now also web space.

IDNet is a very good ISP with brilliant customer service - but it's expensive.
