Be Unlimited Sign up

[link to this post]

Hi , im at work and have been trying to sign up for the Be Unlimited package for home .

However i get to the addresses bit and it wants a building name ? ive tried putting a number in or ignoring it or blanking it but no it is insisting on a building name?

Also when it says i have to be there to receive delivery of the modem , i take it anyone can sing for it ?

I cant ring them at mo , does this mean there is a problem ? or am i going nuts ?

Thanks

Have you tried just entering your postcode, click "find address" and then see what it has in the list of house numbers?

Can't you just repeat the first line of your address in there if it is dumb enough to insist on something being present? I guess the worst that could happen if you did that is that the address label on the package when delivered will have your address on it twice.

Steve

Give them a ring and tell them you will sign up if they waive the 24 connection fee, they usually do.

I just left it blank and had no problem.

What I call my house is not always polite.

Just couldnt get it to work . Rang them in the end , and as per poster above , they waived the connection fee , sent me an email to confirm and that was that .

Sorted . i just need to wait 6 days now to be activated .

Thanks for the replies .
