New Home Supplier

[link to this post]

Hey there,

Curently with Pipex, however, looking to upgrade my service and the only way I can apparently do that is by signing up to Tiscali. This is something I'm not very keen on doing. Unless of course, anyone can tell me any different.

I've looked on here to guage which ISPs I should be looking at. Zen seem good but a little more expensive than some of others. I'm tempted to go with PlusNet.

Have a home network at home with 4 connections, 2 Xbox 360s and 2 laptops. Granted, they are not all using the same connection at once. However, I'd like a decent usage allowance.

Thoughts please.....

With the exception of Zen you seem to only like poor ISP's, you missed AOL & Eclipse.

First, what do you expect to download / upload in a month?
What speeds & pings do you require?
Which exchange are you on and who is available?
What are your current stats or achieved speeds?
Is there a price limit?
Do you want inclusive telephone / mobile?

If you answer the above you will get better advice.
