finally, left BT, got mac code

I was on Home BT and had speed issues AND fup issues so restricted my account, i got sold a BT buisness line saying the FUP is alot nice with the Business so went with that and STILL [censored] FUP restriction AND [censored] speeds. But when i connected to business i got reset so i was in a cooling off period hehe, and now got a MAC CODE

so need u guys help to recommend me the best and most reliable broadband service for [removed] postcode, i admittedly download quite a bit and stream alot on iplayer, youtube etc. So any1 got any recommendations no FUP would be awesome but its unlikely. Cheers guys

Firstly, I would remove your postcode from a public forum (if I were you).

It looks like you're one of the unlucky people to live in a fairly large town, served by a large telephone exchange (almost 21,000 lines), but with absolutely no LLU coverage!

"Samknows" is reporting Talk-Talk will be available from 27th December, but as you seem to be a fairly heavy user (after no, or little FUP) I'd stear well clear of TT.

As you're stuck with a BT wholesale product, maybe look to one of the Entanet resellers, or if you can live with a 20-30GB monthly allowance (including off-peak) maybe look to IDnet, Newnet, or Zen.

30gb allowance no way i would die lol, best bet an entanet reseller then which is the best and consistent speed, and any links?

I used to be with UKFSN, then migrated across to ADSL24 (only because, at the time, they provided more information via their web interface).
Both were very good, considering the huge 300GB off peak allowance, with speeds close to 85% of the BT imposed IP profile for most of the time, with drops to around 2-3Mbps for a couple of hours after 10pm weekdays, and weekend afternoons (so I used to move the big downloads to after midnight).

Just be aware your exchange is due to have 21cn WBC enabled in March, so Entanet may switch you to an ADSL2+ connection.
You'll have to hope BT have fixed the things they broke!

BT's new up to 24Mbps service.

Most if not all resellers will have that information in their control panels, and even if they don't it is also available from the Enta billing site.

Have a look at O2 Access as well, plus more details.

How would that affect a BT Wholesale product? LLU I could understand by why should parts of the country suffer and not others unless it is local exchange congestion, in which case the OP is out of luck regardless of which BTW ISP he chooses. If it is a lack of BT centrals surely the effects would be felt across the country?
