Sky to Be?

[link to this post]

My wife has decided that we will give up Sky TV in the New Year as we watch so little that is not available on Freeview. I am also miffed by Sky doubling my Broadband price to 10.

My exchange (Droitwich) has Be LLU - the Value Package is more expensive than Sky Mid @ 13.50, but we would save the Sky TV Subscription.

Does anyone have experience of switching from Sky to Be?

Can't answer the question about the move from Sky to Be but cannot think why there would be any problem

However, it might be worth a look at O2 Standard as well as Be Value. If you click the tinyurl link in the sig of this post it takes you to his excellent comparison of the two.

Bob: Demon dialup >> Freeserve dialup >> BT Broadband >> Prodigynet >> Newnet >> O2 Standard.
Purple Cloud for domain, email and web space.

I thought the price increase didn't affect people taking up SkyTalk (which is free, BTW)?

Yeah, but I am not sure I want to be tied in any more - than I already am - to Sky

It doesn't.

If you have Sky Talk then the price increase is irrelevant as it won't apply.
